Brad Johnson - Farmington Girls Basketball head coach

Coach Brad Johnson has transformed Farmington Girls Basketball into a powerhouse program by implementing the Read & React Offense with remarkable success. Known for his ability to motivate, engage, and elevate players, Coach Johnson has mastered the art of getting rapid buy-in from his teams, allowing them to become game-ready in record time. His expertise in adapting the Read & React system to fit each unique lineup has made Farmington a standout team, known for its offensive strength, adaptability, and winning mentality.

Rick Torbett - Creator of the Read & React Offense

Rick has spent over 40 years coaching and studying the game of basketball and throughout the process started Better Basketball (we’re talking back in the VHS days).

After years of providing athletes with the resources to level-up key skills, he launched the product he’s most known for today: the Read & React Offense, often referred to as position-less basketball. And because of that, he’s had the tremendous pleasure of mentoring coaches at all levels and in more than 30 countries.

His greatest passion is showing coaches how to reach their highest potential on the court.
